Q: Do you pump septic tanks in Santa Fe?
A: We repair the plumbing inside the house and the main line leading to the tank (inlet lines), but we do not pump the actual septic tank. Septic tank pumping is a specialized service performed by septic companies with vacuum trucks. However, if your drains are backing up because of a stoppage in the line before the tank, we can clear that with our augers and hydro-jetters.
Q: Do you charge travel fees for coming to Santa Fe?
A: No. We believe in upfront, flat-rate pricing. The price for the repair is the same whether you are in League City or Santa Fe. You do not pay for our drive time, mileage, or traffic delays. Our fleet is constantly circulating along Highway 6 and FM 646, so we’re dispatching from nearby areas—not from our Baytown headquarters.
Q: Can you hook up my propane generator?
A: Yes. We are licensed to work on both Natural Gas and Propane systems under our Texas Master Plumber License MPL-38162. We can run the gas line from your propane tank to your generator location, install the proper regulator, size the pipe for your generator’s BTU demand, and pressure test the entire system for safety. We pull permits for all gas line work.
Q: How do I know if I need a water softener or an iron filter?
A: If you have white crusty buildup on faucets, showerheads, and in your water heater, you have hard water (high calcium and magnesium). A water softener will fix that. If you have orange/brown stains on sinks, toilets, and laundry, you have high iron. An iron filter will fix that. If you have both problems, you need both systems. We can test your water on-site to determine the exact treatment needed.
Q: My well pump keeps cycling on and off. What’s wrong?
A: This is usually caused by a failed pressure tank (the bladder inside has ruptured) or a faulty pressure switch. When the tank fails, the pump has to run every time you open a faucet—wearing it out prematurely. We carry replacement pressure tanks (20-gallon, 40-gallon, and 80-gallon) and pressure switches on our trucks. We can diagnose the problem and fix it the same day.
Q: Can you install a gas line for my outdoor kitchen?
A: Absolutely. We install gas lines for outdoor grills, fire pits, pizza ovens, and patio heaters—both natural gas and propane. We size the line based on the total BTU demand of all your appliances, install quick-disconnect fittings for portability, and test the system for leaks. We follow the same code standards as generator installations.
Q: Do you work on homes with long driveways or acreage?
A: Yes. We regularly work on properties with long driveways, multiple buildings (main house, shop, barn, guest house), and acreage. We understand the challenges of long pipe runs, pressure loss over distance, and underground utilities crossing under driveways and pastures. We use heavy-duty Schedule 80 PVC for water lines under driveways and properly size supply lines to maintain pressure.
